No hidden fees. No fine print. Every cost on Monofin is itemized on the order ticket before you confirm, in dollars.

Trading fees

The builder fee is how Monofin makes money: it keeps the routing, the apps, and the social layer running. It’s competitive with other frontends on the same venues, and it’s always its own line on your ticket — never blended, never buried.

A worked example

You open a $1,000 BTC perp position:
  • Monofin builder fee: $1,000 × 0.05% = **$0.50**
  • Venue fee: shown on the ticket at the venue’s current rate
  • Total cost: exact dollar amounts, itemized, before you confirm.
Closing the position is another fill — same structure. On event markets, the fee is calculated on the shares you buy or sell and shown the same way.

Funding is not a fee

On perps, funding payments move between longs and shorts to keep prices anchored to the underlying market. Depending on the rate, you pay funding or receive it. It’s a market mechanism, not Monofin revenue. See Leverage, funding, and liquidations.

No fees on

  • Deposits and withdrawals — Monofin charges nothing to move money in or out (network gas and on-ramp provider fees may apply, shown before you confirm)
  • Holding a balance — no account fees, no inactivity fees
  • Earn deposits — vaults carry their own curator fee structure, disclosed on each vault’s page
