Tier 1 — Core
Treasury-grade. The most conservative products in DeFi yield.- What it holds: tokenized money-market funds (T-bills), Aave USDC supply, blue-chip Morpho vaults curated by names like Steakhouse
- Risk profile: deepest liquidity, conservative collateral, multi-year track records
- For: balances you can’t afford to surprise yourself with
Tier 2 — Plus
Institutionally curated. Professional risk curators running broader strategies.- What it holds: vaults from curators like Gauntlet and Re7, with published risk frameworks
- Risk profile: broader collateral sets (including BTC-backed lending) and active curator management — read the vault’s disclosures before depositing
- For: idle balances where you accept curator and collateral risk in exchange for meaningfully higher yield
Tier 3 — Frontier
Strategy yield. Younger protocols, more complex strategies, the highest advertised rates.- What it holds: delta-neutral and structured-strategy vaults — yield sourced from trading strategies run by the strategy manager
- Risk profile: strategy-manager and execution counterparty risk on top of smart-contract risk; youngest protocols, smallest track records
- For: money you consciously allocate to higher risk — sized accordingly
How to choose
1
Read the yield source
One sentence on every card: where the yield comes from. Not clear? Don’t deposit.
2
Check the curator
Name and track record are on the card. Curator quality is the product.
3
Match the tier to the money
Trading float → Tier 1. Longer-term park → Tier 2. Risk allocation → Tier 3.
4
Know the exit terms
Withdrawal terms are stated on every vault. “No fixed lock-ups, subject to available liquidity” means exactly that.
