# Leaderboard

> The best traders on Monofin, ranked in public — PnL boards across weekly and monthly windows.

**The best traders are public. So are their trades.**

Trading on Monofin is a spectator sport. The leaderboard ranks the best traders in public — real positions, real PnL. No hot takes.

## The boards

* **Top traders by PnL** — the headline board, ranked by profit over the window
* **Weekly and monthly windows** — long-term legends and this week's hot hand are different people; both boards exist
* **Per-market-type boards** — perps traders and event-market forecasters compete on their own turf

## Trader profiles

Tap any name on the board. Their public profile shows:

* **Account value and all-time PnL**
* **Volume traded**
* **Open positions** — what they're holding right now
* **Follow button** — put them in your feed

Every position on a profile is real and timestamped. Someone talks their book on Monofin? You can check the book.

## Why trade in public?

Reputation compounds. Consistent performers collect followers. Followers copy trades, share your cards, join your referral tree. On Monofin, being right in public is an asset.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Public visibility is your choice. Positions are public by default — it's what makes the leaderboard mean something — and you can adjust it in **Settings → Profile**.
