# Roadmap

> Where Monofin is headed — what's live, what's building, and what we're exploring next.

Monofin ships in public. This page is the honest version of where the product is going: what's live today, what's actively building, and what we're exploring. No dates — priorities follow what traders actually use, and everything here can move.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Everything under "Building" and "Exploring" is forward-looking. Scope, timing, and sequencing change. Nothing on this page is a commitment, and none of it is financial advice.

## Live now

The foundation: every market that matters, one balance, the best traders in public.

* **Event markets, perps, and real-world assets** on one home board
* **Non-custodial embedded wallet** — one USDC balance across everything
* **Leaderboard and public profiles** — real positions, real PnL, real receipts
* **Chat** — the global trollbox and per-market rooms, with the full moderation stack
* **Referrals** — 10% off for friends, 25% lifetime fee share for you
* **Watchlist with price alerts**

## Building

In active development, shipping when it's ready.

* **The feed** — a live stream of public trades from traders you follow. Entries, exits, and the theses behind them. The home the product grows into.
* **Per-market comment threads** — slower, sharper discussion under every market, next to the ticket
* **Monofin Earn** — curated, non-custodial yield vaults in three risk tiers for idle USDC. See [What is Monofin Earn?](/earn/what-is-monofin-earn.md)
* **Follow graph** — follow traders straight from the leaderboard and their profiles, filling your feed with their moves

## Exploring

The pipeline. These are the directions we're seriously investigating — some will ship, some will change shape, some will die in review.

### Monofin AI — your research desk

An AI analyst built into the app, trained on the markets Monofin lists:

* **Research on demand** — market recaps, news catalysts, and context for any market on the board
* **Prediction models** — AI-generated probability estimates you can hold up against the market's price. When the model says 60% and the market says 40¢, that's a conversation worth having
* **Positioning intelligence** — whale positioning, funding, open interest — where the crowd is before you trade
* **Portfolio context** — it knows your balances and positions, and flags risk before you find it the hard way
* **Proposed trades, your call** — when an idea looks right, it proposes a specific trade with size and exits. Every one ends in Confirm or Cancel. Execution stays with you

Research, not advice. The models inform; they don't promise.

### Points program

Activity that counts, counted:

* Earn points for trading, referring, showing up — the actions that make Monofin better
* A rewards hub to track your balance and streaks
* Designed to reward consistent, genuine activity — not mercenary volume

What points become is intentionally unsaid for now. Early activity is on the record.

### Trader funds — copy trading, sized properly

Beyond following a trader's feed: allocate to their actual strategy.

* **Funds run by proven Monofin traders** — allocate USDC, mirror their entries and exits proportionally
* **Configurable copying** — set your allocation size, filter by market category, cap your max drawdown, and choose whether to mirror instantly or with a delay
* **Receipts first** — every fund's track record is public leaderboard history, not a pitch deck
* **Your money, your custody** — non-custodial allocation, withdraw per each fund's terms
* **Not Earn** — Earn vaults are DeFi yield from lending. Funds are active trading strategies with active trading risk. Different animal, labeled differently

### Calibration scores and smarter discovery

PnL tells you who got rich. Calibration tells you who's actually right. Raw PnL leaderboards crown hot streaks; we're building the metrics that surface skill:

* **Calibration score** — when a trader says 70%, does it happen 70% of the time? A prediction-native credibility metric nobody else measures
* **Discovery filters beyond PnL** — consistency across multiple windows, win rate by category, risk-adjusted returns, drawdown history
* The goal: find the traders worth following before the crowd does — and avoid the ones one lucky week made famous

### Portfolio intelligence

One balance means your risks can interact in non-obvious ways. A unified portfolio view that shows you the whole picture:

* **Cross-market exposure** — your election YES, your BTC long, and your gold position in one risk view
* **Margin usage across positions** — total leverage, not per-position tunnel vision
* **Correlation flags** — when your "diversified" positions are secretly the same bet

### Execution transparency

Aggregation only wins if fills stay honest — so we show the receipts:

* **Fill quality stats** — average slippage versus venue mid, fill rates, routing outcomes
* **Routing logic in the open** — how orders get routed across venues, and why
* If going direct ever beats us on execution, you should be able to see it. That's the point of publishing it

### Signal board

Cross-venue analytics no single-venue app can build: divergences between prediction venues, mispriced mirrors of the same event, spread histories. When two venues disagree on the same outcome, one of them is wrong — that gap is the product.

### Learn

Two audiences land on Monofin: casual event-market traders and leveraged perp veterans. Each deserves an education layer built for the other one's world — event-market mechanics for perp traders, leverage and liquidation math for first-time forecasters. In-product, in the docs, in plain English.

### US launch

A United States product built on regulated prediction-market infrastructure. The biggest market we can't serve yet, and the one with the most defined path. In the US? The waitlist is open — see [Availability](/account/availability.md).

### Leagues

Trading as a team sport: clans, seasons, and head-to-head competition on top of the public leaderboard. Bring your group chat, keep the receipts.

### The long list

Further out, in rough order of distance: fiat card for spending your balance, OTC desk access for large traders, a marketplace for market-adjacent goods and services. These are direction, not plan.

## How features get decided

Every feature runs the same gauntlet before it ships: does it strengthen the core loop (discover → trade → share → return), what does it cost in compliance and moderation, and can we kill it with a config flag if we're wrong. The features above made it onto this page by passing the first gate. They ship by passing the rest. Have a view on what we should build next? That's very on-brand.
